Why don't you point that over here?

what lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

We know, we know. BioWare doesn’t ‘owe’ anything. It’s their game, after all and presumably they released the product they thought should be released. But BioWare has always had a strong relationship with its fans. Casey Hudson even said 2 weeks ago that fans helped write the game. That’s part of the reason this push for a new ending even exists. If the company cares at all about the legacy of their otherwise beautiful series, or about their relationship with the player community – and we think they do – they ought to at least acknowledge that fans are not happy with things as they are, and why…

The fans don’t want to scrap the bleakness for some kind of enforced happy ending. They don’t want to replace one linear experience with another. What they want is the chance to experience the game BioWare explicitly advertised and for which they paid a substantial sum of money. They want to see how their unique experience plays out to the very end, and if they choose, to start over and make a completely different set of decisions just to see what happens that time. Ultimately, it’s BioWare’s call, but it couldn’t hurt for them to very carefully listen to what that community is saying, and seriously consider working on some calibrations.

I should go.

~Mass Effect 3 Ending-Hatred: 5 Reasons The Fans Are Right

we’re not angry about not getting sappy happy endings goddamnit

we’re angry because the ending

made abso-fucking-lutely

NO goddamn sense

quit saying we’re whiny and entitled, fuck

excuse me as I continue to course through the stages of DABDA less than 30 minutes after getting dished that WTF-ery of an ending and then being told to buy DLC for an actual ending

it just-

I just-

can’t believe that’s the ending

I can’t help but be reminded of an oldschool RPG I played back in 2000

there were three endings

C ending was gameover

B ending was the regular ending but left huge cliffhangers and lots of WTF-ery

and the hidden A ending had a lot of specific requirements to fill during the course of the game that had to be exact in order to see it, which was the “best” ending

I’m kind of wishing there’s an A ending that no one has discovered yet

maybe we were meant to play Paragade/Renegon the entire time instead of clearly back and white

oh god

I’m still in denial man, coming up with random conspiracy theories

if it’s true I bet bioware must be smug as hell and laughing at us

lol if it was…well played…meh

Okay, an opinion about ME3’s ending

If this “The Truth” DLC is real

then ME3’s ending was absolutely intentional so they haul in more money from the game in the form of DLC

EA you are brilliant in terms of revenue for this

but goddamn you have completely shredded what little respect as a publisher I had for you, and it was very minuscule to begin with

You guys are KNOWN to utterly wring out developers you absorb for everything they’ve got before throwing them to the curb

I can’t help but feel that DA:II and ME3 were on the same path

TL;DR: EA has indocrinated Bioware for greedy money grubbing purposes

So after taking my time I am finally going through the ending of ME3

Call me slow but I was 100%-ing this on the first go.

So I’m doing the final runthrough of the Normandy, talking to everyone, lots of good luck and such going around, and figure hey, I’ll go talk to Garrus

I walk into him sort of…making out with Tali.

WHAT.

WHAT.

…awwwwwwwwwww, that’s…cute…I guess… Kind of random, but…

I dunno what to think of it…
